Best 40k Video Game, Lore-wise
Main Post:
If I wanted to immerse myself in the 40k universe with a video game, what are my best picks?
I'm looking for a game that captures the 40k setting as best as possible.

Space Marine is an alright representation, the biggest thing it has going for it is the weight. I haven't seen any other game that properly matches what it's like to stomp forward as a one ton fuck machine and butcher everything in your path with righteous fury.

Is it wise to study English through playing video games?
Main Post:
I've been playing Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. I changed the language setting, specifically the language of dialogue, to English for the purpose of learning English.
I've been running into some issues. Firstly, some of the vocabulary in the dialogue is from the Middle Ages. I'm not certain if I can use it in the real world. Second, sometimes the dialogue has plenty of words that I don't know, so I have to pause the game and look them up in the dictionary. This spoils the game experience.
I'm wondering if it's a wise choice to learn English by playing video games. And is there a more appropriate way to learn English through games?
I appreciate all the experiences shared and the advice given

Playing a game with medieval period dialogue is probably not the best way to learn how to speak modern English. However, there are a lot of games that are accurate to how English dialogue sounds nowadays. I know that Stardew Valley is one, maybe some gaming enthusiasts here can list more

Is there anyone doing anything cool video wise underwater?
Main Post:
I've long followed some of the GUE Next Gens work, and I've been interested in people sort of combining love of videography/filmmaking with scuba. Are there anyone else out there doing stuff?
Looking for pages/YouTube pages.
Also, if there are any that happen to be in my area (DFW) that would be cool to actually be able to meet up, collab...

Is too many hashtags on a video bad view wise
Main Post:
(Posting here cuz the other sub won’t let new people post) I’m a relatively new YouTuber and I noticed a lot of success my first 2 vids with around 10-15k views after only a few weeks. And I recently released a heavily edited video essay that’s on a relatively popular topic. And I’m wondering why it’s not doing well in comparison to the others, only getting 100 views after a few days.
I’m just spitballing here but one thing I noticed is the fact that I have like 25-40 hashtags in this new vid in comparison to the 5-6 in the old ones. And today I released a short with like 50 hashtags and that one also did really poorly compared to my other shorts. So I’m wondering if having too many hashtags hurts the video in some way. Thanks in advance.
Top Comment: There’s more things that could lead to lower viewership and hashtags would be at the bottom of that list. What’s your CTR? How different is this content from the content that has 10-15k views? I highly doubt hashtags alone are impacting the success of your video. EDIT: Can you send the link to your channel?

David Wise is the greatest composer. I will not hear otherwise.

I love Mitsuda, Uematsu and Shimomura. But David Wise is unparalleled. Remember he is the first Western composer to get a song included/remixed in Smash Bros. All in all he is that Guy.
Top Comment: Honestly, the only music I can think of by him is from the Donkey Kong Country games, which is truly classic music but legacy wise not on the level of Mitsuda and Uematsu. But by all means, I would love to be wrong if there are other games he did the music for that you think I should look at.
